MALDIVES SOCCER MATES (MS MATES)

Maldives Soccer Mates was founded on 5 May 2016 as a joint initiative by Hassan Manik (former player and former president of New Radiant Sports Club), Ahmed Shareef (Maadey) (former player and current veteran player of Club Valencia), Abdulla Amir (former player and current veteran player of Club Valencia), and Abdul Razak Ibrahim (former Director General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, former Managing Director of Maldives Sports Corporation, and currently the Minister of State at the Ministry of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation).

The initial Executive Board was elected on 31 July 2016, with Hassan Manik elected as the President, a position he has held for two consecutive terms.

Maldives Soccer Mates is dedicated to promoting veterans’ football and supporting football development at all levels across the nation, including youth football.

Additionally, we run the MS Mates Academy, a football academy with over 300 players aged 6-19 years. The academy is supported by 15 certified coaches, providing structured training and development for aspiring young players.
